Summary
Seasonal and regular retail stock role responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and preparing customer orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting store operations and events.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and newly arrived merchandise
- Unpack merchandise and deliver items to selling departments
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist with maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store activities such as special events setup, markdowns and fixture relocation
Requirements
- Ability to work early shifts starting as early as 3am and a flexible schedule
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with various technology and computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
