Summary
The Senior Operations Associate directs the movement of pre-sale merchandise entering and exiting the store and ensures shipping receiving policies and procedures are implemented. This role maintains inventory accuracy, supports sales and visual teams, manages deliveries and inter-store transfers, and assists with facility and fixture maintenance. The position operates within the store environment and supports inventory reconciliation and cycle counts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory in an efficient clean secure and organized fashion
- Support sales staff by retrieving merchandise not on the sales floor
- Anticipate merchandise maintenance and provide solutions for space and storage issues
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and paperwork is accurately completed
- Support visual merchandising and move store fixtures furniture merchandise and props
- Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance cleaning and repairs as required
- Participate in preparation and completion of inventories and cycle counts
- Manage inter store transfers stock rotations and incoming outgoing shipments per procedures
- Manage client deliveries troubleshoot missing deliveries and document deliveries
Requirements
- Business school university degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of retail experience focused on stock or inventory preferably in luxury
- Computer literate with ability to learn various software packages
- Customer service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills
- Action oriented result driven and strong problem solving ability
- Social perceptiveness and ability to work collaboratively with store teams
- Ability to accurately complete inventory paperwork including damages and returns to vendor
