Retail Stock - Early Start

Summary

Responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting overall store operations during an early start shift. Role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and the ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings. The position supports inventory control through use of inventory management systems and maintains organized selling floors and stockrooms.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders for shipment following packing standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Assist with special events setup and relocating store fixtures
• Perform markdowns and organize backroom areas
• Provide general support to store operations as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work open availability from 5AM to midnight seven days per week
• Experience in a fast paced environment with strong prioritization skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use various technologies and computer applications
• Physical ability for continuous movement including bending, twisting and reaching
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
