Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling floors and stockrooms
- Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process shipments
- Research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist with store support tasks such as special event setup and markdowns
- Organize backroom and relocate store fixtures as needed
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store team
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use various technology and computer applications
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs
- Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours including bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and manipulation
- Ability to handle bulky items and lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to perform manual and physical tasks throughout the shift
