Summary
Under the leadership of the Assistant General Manager Operations, the Returns Desk Associate processes returns sent to the store and supports daily operations of specialized work groups. This role requires strong customer service skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to handle merchandise and perform physical tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the digital return register and process customer returns
- Maintain a neat organized environment and ensure product is secured to standard
- Separate, organize and secure e-commerce returns
- Follow protocols for processing returns adjustments and reconciling reports
- Attach return printouts to each returned item and maintain return integrity
- Resolve customer issues both internal and external
- Support related specialized operations such as cash reconciliation gift card events and jewelry operations
- Communicate with Merchandise Operations Asset Protection and Assistant General Manager of Operations
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of POS systems and proficiency with Google and MS Office
- Ability to lift cartons racks and carts of merchandise up to 15 pounds
- Ability to work well in a fast paced team oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability to work schedules as per business needs and dependable attendance
- Attention to detail and ability to keep workspace organized
- Ability to influence team to follow store policies and assist in decision making
