Summary
Responsible for processing and managing store returns and supporting specialized operations under the Assistant General Manager, Operations. Works closely with merchandise operations, asset protection and management to ensure accurate processing and secure handling of returned merchandise. Provides customer service, resolves issues and maintains organized work areas while adapting to changing technology and store procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process customer returns using digital return register including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain neat organized and secure environment for returned merchandise
- Separate and organize .com returns to preserve product integrity
- Attach return printouts to each returned item
- Follow policies and protocols for returns adjustments and report reconciliation
- Resolve internal and external customer issues
- Collaborate with Merchandise Operations Asset Protection and AGMO
- Support related operations functions such as cash reconciliation gift card events and jewelry operations
- Follow up on reporting and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
- Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift cartons racks and carts up to 15 pounds
- Knowledge of POS and strong computer skills including Google and MS Office
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule and dependable attendance
- Attention to detail and organized personal workspace
- Ability to influence team to follow store policies and procedures
- Ability to liaise between clients and store and communicate effectively
