Summary

Retail Sales Associate on the Home floor at South Coast Plaza responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. Maintain product knowledge, support merchandising standards, and collaborate with the store team to achieve daily objectives.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, assess needs, and provide personalized product recommendations.
• Drive sales goals through proactive selling, upselling, and follow-up.
• Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle returns/exchanges per policy.
• Maintain visual merchandising and stock presentation on the sales floor.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and replenishing merchandise as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail or sales experience, preferably in home goods or department store settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
