Sales Associate - Montgomery Mall

Summary

Participate in a hiring event for sales and support retail roles at the Montgomery Mall store in Bethesda, performing customer-facing sales duties across accessories, men's apparel, women's apparel, and shoes; on-the-spot offers may be made. Interviews are conducted in person and candidates should expect a roughly one hour interview process. This position is retail focused and includes possible performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers on the sales floor
• Assist customers with product selection in accessories, apparel, or shoes
• Process transactions and handle payments accurately
• Maintain merchandise presentation and stock levels
• Support fitting room and visual display requirements
• Meet sales goals and participate in commission programs
• Participate in hiring event interviews and onboarding activities

Requirements

• Ability to work in a retail store environment
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
• Flexible availability to work retail shifts including weekends
• Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods
• Basic cash handling and POS experience preferred
• Eligible to work in the United States
