Summary
The Sales Associate delivers best in class client service, achieves individual sales goals, builds lasting client relationships through product knowledge and selling ceremonies, and supports boutique operating processes for a new store opening.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and KPIs including sales volume, units per transaction, and average dollar per transaction
- Maintain a positive team first attitude and strong drive for results
- Provide welcoming client focused service in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
- Develop and recruit local and international clients to build a client book
- Demonstrate product expertise and engage clients with product stories
- Support floor moves, visual merchandising, and housekeeping
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts and protect boutique assets
- Assist with packing and wrapping customers merchandise when necessary
- Locate merchandise at other boutiques and process charge-send sales accurately
Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail sales and client service experience, preferably in luxury goods
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills to develop client relationships
- Ability to read, count, and write to complete business and client documentation
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, computers, and office equipment
- Can stand for extended periods and handle merchandise and fixtures
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards
