Summary
Sales Supervisor responsible for supporting store management at the Houston Tanger Outlet location, driving sales, coaching the team, maintaining store standards, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role assists with implementing company policies and corporate initiatives while ensuring daily operational excellence. This position requires flexibility to work retail hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed individual and store sales and commercial KPIs
- Lead the sales floor and deliver a customer first experience to build loyal relationships
- Maintain a guest ready store ensuring clients feel welcomed and comfortable
- Provide styling expertise product knowledge and guidance to drive sales
- Manage stages of the client journey to encourage repeat business
- Initiate client contact and follow up on sales events and inquiries
- Foster collaboration and open communication with colleagues and management
- Open and close the store following company procedures and maintain organized sales floor and stockroom
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in retail sales or industry adjacent role focused on customer service
- Prior leadership experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to generate sales and develop client relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational follow up and time management skills
- Passion for the brand and product offering
- Computer skills including POS operation and Microsoft Office navigation
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
