Summary
The Sample Specialist (Temporary) supports Kering Eyewear's Sales Operations team in Bridgewater, NJ, managing the regional sample process and ensuring inventory accuracy. The role is responsible for sample logistics, budget management, SAP order coordination, KPI tracking and quarterly reporting. This position coordinates with HQ, logistics, brand ambassadors and sales teams to support releases and large commercial events.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage the regional sample process to ensure adherence to policies and efficient execution.
- Analyze and report annual sample gaps and manage sample inventory reconciliations and recalls.
- Manage and facilitate the sample budget for HQ and present quarterly findings to the business.
- Coordinate sample logistics and SAP order placement for brand ambassadors and new releases.
- Process sample returns and support on-site event logistics and sample presentation when needed.
- Maintain and analyze monthly samples-related KPIs and update sample process and procedure flows.
- Identify and implement process improvements and conduct training on sample policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of customer master data and provide monthly updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a B2B fashion or similar environment, with sales support, logistics, or sample management preferred.
- Experience with SAP implementation and/or usage is an advantage; advanced Excel skills required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive process improvements.
- Proactive problem solver with a results-driven and adaptable mindset.
