Seasonal alterations and store support role at the NYC flagship focused on delivering excellent customer service at point of sale, assisting with transactions, returns and order fulfillment while maintaining presentation of the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales returns and other transactions
- Deliver timely friendly customer service and listen to customer needs
- Maintain department presentation by straightening lightly cleaning and restocking cash wrap and sales floor
- Stay informed on fashion trends and product knowledge to advise customers
- Build customer relationships and inform about events gift cards and rewards program
- Support other store areas including order fulfillment and order pick up
- Perform continuous movement tasks including bending twisting squatting and reaching to handle merchandise
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organization and follow through with problem solving ability
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Ability to regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
