Summary
Seasonal buffet attendant responsible for maintaining dining room setup and supporting food and beverage service to ensure guests receive service consistent with standards. Works on-site and reports to the Restaurant Manager, performing physical tasks and maintaining hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain table setup and clear and reset tables in the dining room
- Deliver food and beverage to guests based on kitchen tickets
- Maintain bus station and beverage areas and restock supplies
- Assist kitchen and service staff with service needs and expediter station tasks
- Assist waitstaff by refilling beverages and running food to the dining room
- Set up dining room items such as coffee, iced tea, ice, glassware, flatware, and linens
- Execute pre shift, post shift, daily, and weekly duties as assigned
- Lift and move objects including tables and chairs
- Maintain high hygiene standards and be prepared for work each shift
Requirements
- Experience in serving food and beverage and following table service guidelines
- Knowledge of proper placement of china, glass, and flatware for settings
- Familiarity with order of service and kitchen ticket instructions
- Knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
- Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds
