Summary
Seasonal Customer Experience Specialist responsible for delivering outstanding customer service through greeting and engaging customers, supporting online order pickup and returns, assisting with events, and maintaining store organization and back of house processes. Role requires adaptability, multitasking in a fast paced environment, and use of basic technology tools.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers, assess needs, and connect them to services such as order pickup, alterations, styling, returns, and gift wrapping
- Answer phones, respond to email, and provide feedback on trends, fit, and style
- Support inventory management and back of house organization and cleanliness
- Assist with execution of in store events, manage RSVPs and customer contact tracking
- Perform opening and closing duties and follow security procedures during some shifts
- Carry out light cleaning tasks including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, dishwashing, and restroom maintenance
- Handle merchandise, including lifting and carrying items up to 25 to 50 pounds occasionally
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to identify customer needs and build solutions to meet expectations
- Comfort working in a fast paced environment and ability to multi task
- Ability to quickly adapt to new initiatives, concepts, and services
- Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Outlook, Booking Bug, and Excel
- Capacity for continuous movement for 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 to 50 pounds
