Responsibilities
- Drive daily business to achieve sales goals through proactive customer engagement
- Support company and store initiatives and deliver the expected brand experience
- Participate in team training and utilize new sales technologies and alternative purchase methods
- Engage in networking to build a clientele and provide feedback to management
- Maintain sales floor standards and ensure visual and operational readiness
- Support alternative purchasing processes such as ship to home and digital tools
- Assist customers with product discovery using QR codes and digital catalogs
Requirements
- Retail or similar industry experience preferred in a high volume specialty environment
- Effective communication skills with customers and store personnel
- Ability to stand, walk, and move on the sales floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform moderate physical tasks
- Ability to operate a register and use store technology
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and potential travel
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers
