Summary
Seasonal Retail Associate supporting the selling team during peak holiday periods to enhance the client experience through welcoming, assisting, and transitioning clients to appropriate associates while maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients at store entrances and within departments and connect them with the appropriate associate
- Serve in various areas of the store based on business needs
- Process point of sale transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle escalated customer issues and connect customers with management when needed
- Support BOPIS and Curbside pickup and assist with alterations and online pickups
- Partner with Operations and Managers on duty to complete customer requests
- Support fitting room experiences when required
- Introduce and promote store services such as alterations, personalization, food or beverage, and package carry-out or delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-centric roles with proven ability to sell products and services
- Familiarity with retail and mobile technologies
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle escalations and follow up on customer requests
