Summary
Seasonal retail salesperson responsible for driving sales in the home department through in-store and digital selling, building customer relationships, and maintaining department presentation. Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals through in-store and digital channels including text and social media
- Build and maintain lasting customer relationships and grow a customer following
- Provide style and fit guidance and honest product recommendations
- Support department merchandising tasks such as stocking, remerchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
- Fill customer orders and assist with transactions and Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
- Work collaboratively with the team to keep the department customer ready
- Occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong organization and follow through
- Ability to use technology and networking to achieve sales goals
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including variable hours
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
