Summary
The Selling And Service Assistant supports front and back of house boutique operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, client service, and administrative support for after sales services. The role partners with the sales and management teams to maintain merchandising standards, stockroom organization, and POS accuracy in a fast paced luxury environment.
Responsibilities
- Process point of sale transactions accurately including payments and client verification
- Assist with opening and closing procedures at the register
- Provide prompt friendly client service including greeting and packaging
- Support sales team by merchandising, returning merchandise to floor, and retrieving stock
- Maintain selling floor presentation and ensure supplies are stocked
- Assist stockroom operations including replenishment, tagging, and ticketing
- Support after sales by logging repairs and contacting clients
- Maintain detailed CRM records of client purchases and interactions
- Answer phones and provide customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury environment preferred
- Experience with POS and cash handling preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi task and stay detail oriented
- Strong organizational and computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle difficult situations with composure
- Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance
- Willingness to perform clerical and administrative duties
