Selling Associate

Summary

The Selling Associate creates a personalized customer experience while supporting sales and customer loyalty at a luxury off-price retailer. This role provides product knowledge, styling guidance, and attentive service to help customers find merchandise that meets their needs.

Responsibilities

• Recommend merchandise and assist customers with product selection.
• Build customer relationships and promote loyalty programs and store credit offerings.
• Process transactions accurately and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms, including markdowns, signage, and merchandise presentation.
• Support sales goals, asset protection, and store programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and sales skills.
• Fashion industry knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing product expertise.
• Ability to use POS registers and related store equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
