Summary
The Selling Supervisor supports Store Management by executing strategic plans to drive profitable business and championing new selling tools. This role assigns and manages tasks for the sales team, ensures exceptional customer experience, and helps maintain store operations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Support Store Management in analyzing business trends and executing store initiatives
- Communicate sales and profit performance tools to the store team
- Handle customer complaints and resolve customer service issues
- Support client development and conduct community outreach in the market
- Participate in recruitment and interviewing to build and develop the team
- Provide feedback and coaching to store associates and support training initiatives
- Maintain inventory control and operational management to uphold productivity standards
- Champion use of new technology and New Ways of Selling techniques
- Ensure sales floor and store standards exceed expectations
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent a plus
- Retail management or similar industry experience in a complex high-volume specialty environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
- Ability to operate register, stand and move for multiple hours and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible schedule availability including days evenings weekends and occasional travel
- Proven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships
- Strong business acumen planning and prioritization skills
