Summary
Supervise the sales floor to ensure a consistent memorable customer shopping experience using high standards of service while building client relationships and supporting store leadership and culture. Partner with managers to learn leadership responsibilities and positively influence the store team through coaching and development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise sales floor operations and uphold customer service standards.
- Coach, mentor, and manage sales associates to expand clientele and maximize sales.
- Perform opening and closing procedures and handle returns and exchanges in manager absence.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and participate in daily stock maintenance and floor changeovers.
- Use product knowledge and selling tools to meet and exceed personal sales and SPH goals.
- Identify and communicate training needs to management and support training initiatives.
- Partner with managers to check task trackers and retail web updates and follow up on tasks.
- Utilize the CEM role and promote new business initiatives to the sales team.
Requirements
- Relevant retail or sales experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach and develop team members and motivate toward goal achievement.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday, and Outlook preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, move for multiple hours and operate a register.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and climb moderately using a ladder per safety guidelines.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and respect for brand standards.
