Summary
Join Nordstrom’s Platform and Data organization as a Senior Technical Program Manager on the Insights Delivery team. You will drive AI-first metric definition, standardization, and data quality programs to enable trusted decision-making at scale. Partner with data engineering, analytics, product, and business leaders to embed governance into data platforms and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Scale and mature the enterprise data governance operating model, strengthening ownership, stewardship, and data quality.
- Own roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, and delivery for governance and metric standardization initiatives.
- Partner across product, engineering, data platform, analytics, and business domains to align priorities and operationalize metrics.
- Lead change through workshops, communications, and enablement to drive adoption and accountability.
- Surface risks and trade-offs early and drive resolution to meet program objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
- 7+ years of technical program management experience focused on data engineering, analytics, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization and influencing senior leaders.
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills; experience supporting executive operating rhythms.
- Technical foundation with working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Python, R, modern data platforms (e.g., GCP, Databricks, Azure), and data catalog tools is a plus; PMP/Agile certifications a plus.
