Summary
The Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor develops deep, long lasting relationships with customers to increase sales, service, and loyalty and is responsible for achieving sales targets for their assigned brand. This role delivers expert product knowledge, supports brand marketing and events, and maintains client communications and floor presentation in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all customers
- Exceed personal and brand sales and service goals
- Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and retention
- Share expert product knowledge with the store selling team
- Maintain relationships with buyers, vendors, and selling management
- Drive brand sales through marketing opportunities, events, and assortment recommendations
- Attend product and vendor educational sessions and store seminars
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes and related sales support tasks
- Communicate regularly with personal clients via phone mail and electronic methods
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two years experience in a commission based sales environment
- Prior retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury environment preferred
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets
- Highly collaborative and able to work in a fast paced multi tasking environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Entrepreneurial competitive self confident and self motivated
- Fully bilingual in French and English
