Summary

The Point of Sale Specialist delivers efficient, accurate transaction processing and supports the boutique by maintaining the cash wrap and POS operations. This role enhances the client experience through precise data capture, digital engagement support, and adherence to CHANEL service standards. The Specialist works in-store and assists the team across boutique functions, requiring a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions, receipts, refunds, and credits accurately and professionally.
• Own cash wrap operations: stock and organize packaging and supplies, open/close registers, handle cash and deposits, and complete POS closing workflow.
• Bag, box, and gift wrap merchandise to CHANEL presentation standards.
• Capture accurate client data at point of sale and support client engagement with digital tools.
• Support boutique operations and assist colleagues to maximize client-facing time.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience, including prior POS experience in a service industry.
• Comfortable operating registers and POS technology; experience with digital client engagement tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle cash and confidential client information responsibly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods; flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
