Summary
The Specialist, Visual Merchandising oversees coordination and maintenance of visual merchandising standards within the boutique, supporting window installs, fixture and mannequin setup, and ensuring photographic documentation for the Global Image Team. This role works closely with Visual Lead, Boutique Management, and the Visual Merchandise Manager to execute displays and maintain brand presentation during boutique hours and events.
Responsibilities
- Supervise implementation and maintenance of visual merchandising guidelines on the selling floor and windows
- Coordinate movement and storage of display elements with Visual Merchandise Manager
- Oversee animations and VM direction communicated to Image Ambassadors and boutique management
- Ensure windows and selling floors are merchandised regularly between floor sets and launches
- Manage proper set up and use of fixtures, selling tools, and mannequins
- Take and submit photographs of the boutique after floor and window sets according to VM photo guidelines
- Update photographic records in Dropbox after changes are made
- Work independently on projects and deliver timely results
- Support in-store client service as needed during boutique hours
Requirements
- Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art or Fashion related study
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or higher, preferably with a luxury brand
- Comprehensive knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising and visual display
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital photography using phone applications
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Flexible schedule with ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to move items up to 25 lbs including lifting pulling and pushing
