Summary
Senior Manager leading Technical Program Management for Merchandising Technology, responsible for building and developing a high performing TPM team and translating long term merchandising strategy into executable programs. This role partners with product and engineering teams to drive roadmaps, change management, and delivery of reliable scalable merchandising systems while leveraging AI and metrics to measure outcomes. The position reports to the VP Technology for Merchandising and operates in a hybrid model in Seattle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Senior Technical Program Managers focused on merchandising technology.
- Create and maintain program roadmaps for 6 to 18 month delivery horizons.
- Partner with product management and engineering to align prioritization of initiatives and success metrics.
- Drive change management and organizational strategy using business cases and ROI analysis.
- Manage cross team dependencies, negotiate timing, and resolve stakeholder issues.
- Participate in design reviews and act as subject matter expert for program functionality and interactions.
- Use retrospectives and continuous improvement practices throughout program lifecycles.
- Conduct scenario planning and workforce modeling to assess AI impacts on roles and structures.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT industry experience.
- 5+ years leading Technical Program Management or Engineering teams in merchandising technology or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related technical discipline.
- Proven experience driving outcome focused roadmaps and stakeholder alignment through change.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across levels and group sizes.
- Ability to define measure and analyze processes to identify improvements.
- Experience working cooperatively across organizations to achieve shared objectives.
