Summary
Seeking a Stock Associate to support the Beverly Hills flagship by managing incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintaining stock room organization, and supporting sales staff and management to ensure efficient boutique operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify accuracy of merchandise and supply deliveries against shipping documentation
- Perform routine cycle counts and resolve or report inventory discrepancies
- Organize stock room by style, color and size and maximize available stock space
- Prepare and package outgoing merchandise and maintain organized shipping area
- Provide quick, accurate stock checks and deliver product to the sales floor upon request
- Communicate new arrivals, product replenishment and client returns to management and sales team
- Re-stock packaging supplies and maintain appropriate levels
- Aid in training new hires on shipping and receiving procedures
- Complete tasks and projects assigned by Store Management
Requirements
- 1-2 years of stock room experience in retail preferred
- Experience with international and domestic freight carriers preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills with Excel experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods
- Ability to climb a ladder and lift packages of 20 lbs regularly
- Self-motivated, professional and team oriented with high accountability
