Summary
Part-Time Stock Associate responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining merchandise and shipments in the King of Prussia boutique. Acts as a brand ambassador supporting store operations, stock replenishment, and efficient inventory flow to enable sales team success.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming and outgoing merchandise against documentation
- Perform quick accurate stock checks and deliver merchandise to the sales floor upon request
- Maintain stock room organization by style, color and size as directed
- Execute routine cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies to management
- Prepare and package outgoing merchandise and maintain shipping area standards
- Maximize stock space for easy access and efficient store function
- Communicate new arrivals, replenishment needs and client returns to management and sales team
- Replenish packaging supplies and support training of new hires on shipping and receiving procedures
- Complete ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by Store Management
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail stock room experience preferred
- Experience with domestic or international freight carriers a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills; Excel experience preferred
- Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods
- Ability to climb a ladder and regularly lift packages up to 20 lbs
- Self-motivated, professional team player with high accountability
