Summary
The Stock Manager oversees stockroom operations and inventory control, ensuring adherence to company stockroom guidelines and store procedures while supporting store management in operational, budgetary, and customer service areas.
Responsibilities
- Oversee stockroom policies and procedures according to operations manual and global guidelines
- Manage daily shipping receiving and repair workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies and negatives
- Receive merchandise and complete monthly store reconciliation
- Perform cycle counts and prepare annual inventory
- Ensure supplies are stocked and costs align with budget
- Perform opening and closing procedures and coordinate store maintenance
- Submit required daily weekly and monthly reporting
- Support sales floor and participate in additional management projects
Requirements
- 6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and relevant inventory systems
- Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to drive results and manage coach and develop a team
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Ability to react quickly in a fast paced environment
