Summary
The Stock Supervisor is responsible for supervising inbound and outbound merchandise and maintaining back of house stock and supply areas to maximize store productivity. This role supports replenishment, inventory operations, loss prevention, and assists client advisors while representing the brand and contributing to store organization and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise receipt, tagging, deliveries and transfers of products and supplies.
- Manage stockroom organization and oversee flow of goods to the sales floor.
- Ensure efficient replenishment and prepare new items for display with client advisors.
- Plan and undertake inventory operations and monitor loss prevention.
- Control and supervise transfers, RTVs, inter store movements and outgoing packages.
- Train and support stock keepers on system and stockroom guidelines.
- Participate in daily store meetings and communicate business trends and updates.
- Manage store materials, supplies, uniforms and coordinate with suppliers for orders and invoicing.
- Support cash procedures and provide cashier backup if needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of luxury retail sales experience.
- Experience with women’s and men’s ready to wear merchandising.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and results driven mindset.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast paced retail environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control and loss prevention practices.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
