Stock Supervisor - Bleecker

Summary

The Stock Supervisor is responsible for receiving, unpacking, organizing, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor while maintaining the stockroom’s cleanliness and operational efficiency. This role manages inventory control processes, assists with floorset preparation, and executes transfers, returns, and related paperwork to support store operations. The supervisor works closely with store management and corporate directives to minimize shrink and ensure merchandise is floor ready.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-store receiving, unpacking, tagging, steaming, folding, and hanging of merchandise.
• Replenish sales floor inventory daily and prepare merchandise for floorsets and promotions.
• Execute transfers, returns, damage processing, and customer charge sends per policy.
• Maintain, organize, and audit the stockroom for consistent sizing, folding, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records in Retail Pro and complete required receiving and transfer paperwork.
• Support operational tasks such as packaging supply replenishment, trash and box removal, light checks, and seasonal sidewalk/snow duties.
• Assist with vendor drop off and pick up for alterations, repairs, and dry cleaning as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory reporting and audits.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Retail Pro experience preferred.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, follow procedures, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
