Store Manager responsible for leading the Magazine St boutique focused on optical services, delivering exceptional in-person customer experiences, achieving sales and profitability goals, upholding brand standards, and developing a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Execute retail and optical strategies to drive sales, traffic, and brand awareness
- Use KPIs and business acumen to develop and support sales driving strategies
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach store team members to deliver brand customer experiences
- Train staff in product, fit, styling, and optical knowledge and verify ongoing training
- Maintain merchandising standards, inventory levels, and supervise inventory management to minimize shrink
- Manage daily and weekly reporting, headcount, payroll budgets, and P and L objectives
- Plan and execute in-store events and collaborate with field and HQ partners to build location awareness
- Resolve customer issues promptly and communicate effectively with all organizational levels
- Conduct regular store meetings and recommend operational improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in retail sales and management; optical experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of fashion trends and strong interest in eyewear
- Strong financial acumen and advanced retail math ability
- Proven leadership with ability to hire, develop, and motivate teams
- Experience managing store operations, merchandising, and inventory control
- Ability to meet sales goals and translate monthly targets into daily and weekly plans
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and remain flexible in a collaborative retail environment
- Self motivated, organized, and passionate about fashion and design
