Summary
Responsible for leading multi-site luxury retail construction projects across North America, managing end-to-end project delivery from planning through handover while ensuring brand quality and timely completion. The role requires coordination with internal stakeholders, architects, designers, vendors, and contractors and involves regular site visits.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end construction process for multiple luxury retail projects.
- Collaborate with internal clients, architects, and designers to align project objectives.
- Source and manage subcontractors and suppliers to meet quality standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets and control costs.
- Create and monitor detailed project schedules and adjust timelines as needed.
- Implement quality assurance measures to meet brand specifications.
- Oversee daily site activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare regular progress reports documenting milestones and financial status.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in luxury retail or high-end commercial construction project management.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, permits, and regulations.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office; Smartsheet experience a plus.
- PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable; LEED or related certification preferred.
- Experience in budget management, cost control, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of risk management and claims management in construction.
- Willingness to travel regularly for site visits across North America.
