Strategic Sourcing Manager - Technology

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Technology at Nordstrom, you will play a crucial role in developing and leading sourcing strategies for software and hardware Indirect Spend categories. You will manage suppliers and internal networks to deliver best-in-class performance, contributing to the company's growth and corporate social responsibility leadership.

• Manage the contract lifecycle of complex PaaS and IaaS solutions, Big Data software, and data center hardware.
• Develop effective negotiation strategies and lead cross-functional teams.
• Communicate and influence internal leadership and suppliers.
• Develop business relationships with strategic suppliers and industry players.
• Manage and measure suppliers for continuous performance and improvement.
• Draft and redline a variety of technology agreements.
• Independently solve problems and make decisions for strategic execution.
• Collaborate with strategic sourcing peers and leadership.

• 6+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
• Strong experience with PaaS/IaaS/SaaS solutions and data center hardware.
• Knowledge of market analysis, sourcing category strategy, and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to influence at an Executive Level and lead peer groups.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office Suite, Oracle, BI Apps, and charting programs.
• Supplier risk management experience.
• Expert negotiation tactics and strategies.
