Summary

Provide high quality tailoring and fitting services to customers, performing alterations and fittings in a retail alterations shop. Deliver timely alterations while using sewing and pressing machinery and store technology to manage customer alteration needs. Work collaboratively with the alterations and store team to meet productivity and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit garments on customers
• Mark areas requiring alterations and perform sewing alterations
• Complete customer fittings and alteration work on time
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize alteration requests
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration
• Educate customers and employees on fit style construction and trends

Requirements

• Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience preferred minimum of 2 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
