Summary

The Tailor provides expert alterations and garment adjustments to ensure an exceptional fit for customers, working closely with store management and sales associates. This on-site role maintains the tailor shop, upholds high standards of craftsmanship, and contributes to an elevated in-store experience through attention to detail and quality work.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations on men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including sleeve, waist, length, and taper adjustments.
• Accurately mark garments and ensure alterations meet company standards for fit and finish.
• Collaborate with sales associates to verify sizing and recommend garment adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning tailor shop and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in garment alterations, preferably in men’s tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficient in sewing techniques and use of tailoring equipment and machines.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
