Summary
The Team Lead will assist Store Management to coach and develop the sales team, build and maintain client relationships, drive sales and ensure exceptional client experience while supporting operational duties and representing the brand values.
Responsibilities
- Coach and develop team members and lead morning briefings and trainings as needed
- Support conversion and new client acquisition through clienteling and elevated client engagement segments
- Achieve personal sales targets and model sales leadership to the team
- Manage sales floor presence and support efficient floor operations to maximize business opportunities
- Handle escalated client situations in partnership with store management
- Support recruiting and talent development and contribute to succession planning
- Provide product feedback to Corporate Merchandising and support sell-through targets
- Ensure policies, brand standards and grooming guidelines are communicated and followed
- Assist with inventory management and other operational processes as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive retail experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree a plus; relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Proven track record of sales generation and client development
- Strong leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills with ability to read and analyze reports
- Professional presentation and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technologically adept with proficiency in Microsoft tools
