Upholstery Inspect And Deluxe Associate

Summary

Perform finishing and inspection of upholstered furniture to ensure pieces meet product specifications, apply appropriate labeling, and document completed work. Operate equipment such as steamers and perform cleaning tasks to prepare products for delivery. Collaborate with manufacturing team members and perform other duties as required to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Clean upholstery pieces to remove strings and debris
• Inspect sewing and overall quality to identify defects
• Operate steamer to remove wrinkles
• Apply appropriate labeling to completed pieces
• Take pictures of completed products for documentation as needed
• Perform duties outside regular work area when required
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Lift and mobilize furniture and accessories safely

Requirements

• Six months prior experience in a similar upholstery deluxing role
• Knowledge of deluxing upholstery product
• Able to read production tickets
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented
• Ability to lift over 100 pounds using appropriate equipment
