Summary

The VIP Alterations Specialist produces high-quality alterations on ready-to-wear and haute couture garments, delivering exceptional service to VIP clients. The role requires mastery of tailoring and flou techniques, strong fabric knowledge, and close collaboration with VIP relations and boutique teams.

Responsibilities

• Fit, alter, and repair VIP garments, including hemming, mending, lengthening, and adjusting seams.
• Execute precise alterations that can be reversed without cutting, while meeting production standards and timelines.
• Communicate with VIP relations teams to understand client specifications, needs, and preferences while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain sewing equipment and knowledge of CHANEL alteration techniques, collections, and products.
• Support alterations talent development through demonstrations and training.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related alterations experience, preferably in luxury retail.
• Exceptional sewing expertise, including tailoring and flou techniques, and sound knowledge of fabrics and sewing methods.
• Strong client service, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time constraints, lift 20 pounds, and maintain a flexible schedule that includes late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
