Summary

The Sewing Associate produces high-quality upholstered components using industrial sewing techniques. The role supports efficient production while maintaining craftsmanship, safety, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders and provide timely progress updates.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and sew, assemble, and finish upholstery components.
• Select appropriate supplies and threads, and steam or press fabrics as needed.
• Handle materials and finished components safely and contribute to specialty projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience operating industrial sewing machines in furniture production, sewing, or a related field.
• Proficiency sewing upholstery fabrics and material components.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with limited supervision, and communicate collaboratively.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, detail, attendance, and punctuality.
