Visual Associate

Summary

The Visual Associate helps create an engaging visual environment and supports store visual initiatives. This role includes merchandising the sales floor, creating window displays, and styling mannequins to meet visual and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the selling floor for opening with urgency and attention to readiness.
• Follow direction from the Visual Manager and corporate visual team.
• Set up promotions, sales presentations, signage, trunk shows, and personal appearances.
• Replenish merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units.
• Complete additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of visual team experience in a major multi-level department store and a portfolio of previous work.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience with painting techniques, basic production, materials, styling, and fashion pulls.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator experience preferred.
