Watch Repair Artisan

Summary

The Watch Repair Artisan performs inspection, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and overhauls of client-owned and company-owned watches at the Piscataway facility. The role supports after-sales service operations and ensures repairs meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, clean, polish, and test mechanical and quartz watches.
• Perform battery services, maintenance, and total revisions, including movement disassembly and assembly.
• Update repair records, track spare-parts usage, pick components, and support inventory replenishment.
• Communicate diagnoses, technical quotations, delays, authenticity concerns, and quality issues to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools, work areas, and repair procedures.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience repairing luxury timepieces, including mechanical movements, automatic chronographs, and quartz movements.
• Formal watchmaking training or equivalent experience; basic experience polishing 18K gold.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and collaborative communication.
• Ability to work in person five days per week and lift up to 20 pounds.
