Summary
The Wholesale Training Specialist delivers and implements training programs for partner retailers across the North American market to support network expansion, sales targets, and elevated customer experience. This hands-on role coaches retail sales teams on the selling floor, assesses training needs, evaluates program effectiveness, and collaborates with leadership to influence behavior and drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Training Manager and Sales Director to assess retailer training and development needs.
- Plan and implement training activities in support of global and market initiatives.
- Coach and train retail sales teams through on the floor observation and partnership moments.
- Facilitate on the job learning by leading by example with store leaders and selling teams.
- Report on training effects and identify skill development or behavior change needs via store visit recaps.
- Establish partnerships and communication to ensure program delivery and adherence to standards.
- Design and deliver high impact training to maximize learner participation and application.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to influence future program design.
- Coordinate training supplies and participate in projects and special assignments as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of wholesale or retail training experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- 2+ years working within wholesale accounts.
- Experience delivering product and service centric training.
- Comfort and confidence interacting on the selling floor with luxury clientele.
- Strong coaching, motivational, and influencing abilities.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies preferred.
- Demonstrated business acumen and retail product knowledge.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with clear communication.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
