Job Description

Mission:

The Specialist of Ecommerce Merchandising at Chanel will assist in site merchandising updates relating to the Fragrance, Makeup, Skincare axis. This role will be responsible for product launch management and helping with on-going merchandising contribution in support of launches and business goals.

Accountabilities:

  • Support Group Director, F&B Ecommerce Merchandising with product launch contribution and quality assurance testing, ensuring readiness for timely launch on site
  • Assist with on-going site merchandising updates in content management systems to successfully support campaigns and sales objectives
  • Partner with Global F&B Digital on globally contributed page content with planning alignment and thorough quality assurance testing to support new products, campaigns, and seasonality
  • Contribute product sequencing for category pages and maintenance of filter attribution
  • Manage cross-sell product page recommendations
  • Analyze on-site search behavior to optimize search terms, monitor trends, and provide enhancement recommendations
  • Submit copy and asset requests for editorial, product and post-purchase pages to Local AD and partner with Local Marketing as needed
  • Complete campaign briefs for marketing to provide visibility of Chanel.com plans with the F&B division
  • Create & oversee all project ticket requests for personalization, local development requests, cross-divisional pages
  • Manage the F&B Product Activation Calendar
  • Partner with Growth & Retention specialist to align on email cadence & landing pages
  • Meet weekly with digital business analyst and demand planning team to identify business opportunities and align on inventory statuses
  • Leverage web analytics to help evaluate content performance and identify opportunities
  • Conduct competitive analysis to gain insight & provide takeaways for gift guides and future F&B digital initiatives

Position Requirements:

  • 2-3 years relevant experience working in a digital site experience role
  • Experience in product and content management systems
  • Strategic thinker & planner, strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly collaborative and flexible/adaptable to different environments and ways of working
  • Strong attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range is $64,200 to $93,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.
