Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for strategically managing wholesale relationships with department stores and independent retailers to drive full price sales, productivity, and category growth. This role partners with Merchandising, Product and Customer Service teams, requires domestic and international travel, and supports seasonal campaign selling and account management.
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and seasonal sales plans and annual invoicing targets
- Build and maintain relationships with buyers and store staff through regular communication
- Analyze sales data and create selling reports to drive business decisions
- Manage seasonal selling campaigns including market appointments and order entry
- Monitor stock levels, reorders, shipping, and store presentation to meet brand standards
- Coordinate with Merchandising and Central Product teams on assortment and buys
- Create weekly and monthly selling recaps with action plans
- Develop training decks and partner with VM for in-store presentation
- Perform projects and assignments as directed by management
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of wholesale experience, preferably in luxury
- Proven ability to exceed financial targets in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and team oriented skills
- Complete proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel including v lookups and pivot tables, and Word
- Experience preparing professional presentation decks for management
- Retail math skills and analytical ability to drive business
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally for seasonal markets
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
