Summary
Lead development of the brand at the retail sales level across an assigned New York City territory, acting as a brand ambassador and business developer while overseeing teams and partnering with corporate and store stakeholders to drive sales and client retention.
Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador and communicate brand heritage and values to teams and clients.
- Develop business strategies, identify market opportunities, and propose action plans to grow sales.
- Achieve retail and net sales goals and perform sales analysis to recommend improvements.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and motivate Beauty Consultants, Business Managers, Ambassadors, and Selling Specialists.
- Partner with store management to plan and execute product launches, promotions, and events.
- Implement merchandising guidelines and negotiate for improved product placement at points of sale.
- Manage budgets and maintain travel and entertainment expenses within set limits.
- Provide regular feedback to Corporate and share best practices across retail locations.
- Collaborate with Education to train and develop sales teams and support intersell in stores.
Requirements
- 5+ years of prestige beauty, fragrance, or skincare sales and management experience.
- Prior experience as a Business Manager, in sales, or in training roles.
- Strong client development and CRM skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proven ability to recruit and build high-performing collaborative teams.
- Effective communication, empathy, and results-oriented approach.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to improve store management.
- Ability to handle confidential business information.
- Microsoft Office experience preferred.
