Job Description

Summary

As an Account Executive for Ralph Lauren Golf, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales and account management in the region, targeting premier private clubs and resorts. You will position Ralph Lauren Golf as the premier partner in the channel, ensuring alignment with brand standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage long-standing relationships with over 100 clubs while aggressively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory growth plans in conjunction with the West Coast Sales Lead.
  • Utilize business-to-business technology platforms to drive multi-gender seasonal plans and maximize RL presence in each shop.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end product life cycle from order entry to shipment in conjunction with the customer service team.
  • Partner with accounts on in-store merchandising and brand positioning strategy through account visits.
  • Analyze the business weekly and be an expert in the competitive marketplace, including products, trends, and services.
  • Utilize trade shows, account visits, and technology platforms to service accounts in their seasonal sell-in.
  • Focus on the Tournament and Event business to complement efforts in the shop, providing best-in-class service levels.
  • Ensure professional and proactive communication with all levels of account management to build strong relationships and drive business forward.
  • Schedule, prepare, and manage travel in accordance with business needs and expense budgets.
  • Manage all direct expenses within established budgets and submit expense reports timely.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of the premium golf industry and green grass channel.
  • Strong retail analysis and computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and systems management.
  • Highly motivated and organized self-starter with a results-driven approach.
  • Experience and understanding of PGA Professionals, Golf industry organizations, and influencers.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively.
