Alterations Tailor - Beverly Hills

Summary

We are seeking an Alterations Tailor to produce high-quality tailored merchandise for both womenswear and menswear at the Beverly Hills flagship, reporting to the Store Director. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, managing fittings and expectations, and completing alterations within established timeframe standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide the tailoring client experience for womenswear and menswear, including fittings and garment marking.
• Demonstrate expertise in alterations, supporting VIP tailoring and assisting with sale closings.
• Draw and cut patterns as needed and perform minor and major alterations and repairs per brand guidelines.
• Deliver accurate lead times and cost estimates, organize workload, and complete items on time while maintaining customer relationships.

Requirements

• Luxury retail experience required.
• Proficiency operating all tailor shop equipment and ability to draw and cut patterns.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, alteration tags, and marks to ascertain necessary alterations.
