Summary
The Analyst, Master Transactional Data monitors and guarantees the readiness and quality of supply chain datasets for Moet Hennessy USA and serves as a key point of contact for data governance. This hybrid, NYC-based role supports data integration, mapping, and the creation of a single source of truth in the datalake to enable accurate reporting and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage master transactional supply chain datasets including depletions, inventory, and forecast.
- Collaborate with IT to implement dataset evolutions and expose data to business users.
- Ensure consistent mapping of external datasets with MH data and maintain data integrations.
- Monitor data freshness, accuracy, completeness, and validity and track/resolve data quality issues with IT and data teams.
- Serve as primary point of contact with MHUSA data governance and champion governance standards within Supply Chain.
- Document supply chain datasets and share data management best practices across business users.
- Support business continuity by backing up Data & Reporting Analyst tasks (SKU maintenance, distributor SKU mapping) and Pricing Analyst tasks (catalog and pricing maintenance).
Requirements
- Undergraduate or Master degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of Demand Planning or Data Science experience, preferably in a luxury or wine & spirits environment.
- Strong SQL and database management skills with expertise in Excel and BI tools.
- Advanced analytical skills, high attention to detail, and strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts for business users.
- Self-starter able to work with limited direction, set priorities independently, and drive change.
