Summary
Responsible for enforcement and protection of company assets including merchandise, money, equipment, fixtures, personnel, and customers. The role conducts post coverage, audits, incident reporting, and partners with management and external resources to mitigate risk and maintain safety and security of the boutique.
Responsibilities
- Provide post coverage and stock security.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks of the facility.
- Complete audits and maintain accurate AP records and documentation.
- Report violations and incidents and interact with local law enforcement when required.
- Manage outsourced security guards and supervise off site sales processes.
- Review daily reports for negatives, voids, returns, and quota items.
- Perform key audits, safe log reviews, and control access for associates and visitors.
- Partner with floor management in absence of Asset Protection Manager and support training touch points.
- Maintain monthly AP documents and review training concerns with leadership.
Requirements
- 1-3 years asset protection or retail experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Security license and required training certificates (mandatory in NYC).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem solving and decision making ability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise including lifting.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment and adapt to changing needs.
- Credibility, trustworthiness, and service orientation.
